Merton and Wimbledon residents show off new 60+ Oyster photocard
From the 1st November anyone with a 60+ Oyster photocard will be eligible to use all Transport for London services and some national rail routes 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Merton's Conservative Transport Spokesman, Councillor Richard Hilton says: "I'm delighted Boris Johnson has delivered on his election pledge to ensure all Merton residents can enjoy free travel around the capital from their 60th birthday. Estimates suggest the Mayor's new scheme will benefit around 11,500 residents in the London Borough of Merton over the next 3 years."
People who hit their 60th birthday and don't already have a freedom pass can apply.
