Actress Margi Clark heads a girls comedy night at New Wimbledon Theatre

If you are a girl and you just wanna have fun then New Wimbledon Theatre's latest comedy may be just the ticket.

Hormonal Housewives follows the lives of three women as they battle the usual girly problems - weight gain, weight loss, mood swings,  wine, PMS, men, waxing, stretch marks, upper-lip hair, chocolate and other issues that us 21st century gals have to deal with.

With Margi Clark, Julie Coombe and Laura Checkley, as the three actresses revealing their personal battles, it's sure to kick into touch those winter blues.

Margi Clark, a former punk singer and now actress, has starred in Coronation Street as Tyrone Dobb's mum, Brookside, Making Out, and has had parts in Benidorm, Casualty and Family Affairs. She also presented the ITV show Good Sex Guide and appeared on Celebrity Master Chef last year.

Comedian Laura Checkley is one half of a double act Checkley & Bush, and runs her own comedy night in Leicester Square and Julie Coombe, a Scottish actress who has starred in the TV show Take the High Road.

The show starts this Wednesday and runs until Saturday, February 25, before heading around the country on tour.
