Be More Careful With Your Belongings On Public Transport

Transport For London have released figures regarding the number of items left behind by people on public transport in the borough of Merton in the last year. 742 handbags, 724 books, 496 mobile phones and 439 other valuables including wallets, cameras and computers were among a total of 4,151 items handed into lost property during the previous 12 months.

Check your belongings before leaving the train!
Presumably the real number is an awful lot higher as plenty of items would never have been handed in so the message is clear – be more careful!
