Dental clinic in Wimbledon prepares for Mouth Cancer Awareness month

A dental clinic in Wimbledon is laying on an open day offering Free oral cancer screening appointments as part of Mouth Cancer Awareness month in November.  Staff at the Infiniti Dental Clinic will also be engaging with the public on what to look out for, if you suspect that could suffer from mouth cancer.  

The British Dental Health foundation say over 6,000 people are diagnosed each year, and without early detection, half will lose their lives. 

Common symptons of mouth cancer include:

- Ulcers which do not heal within three weeks

- Red and white patches in the mouth

- Unusual lumps or swellings in the mouth
