Emmerdale's Roxanne Pallett to headline Rocky Horror Picture Show in 40th celebration

Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Picture show is celebrating it's 40th Anniversary at the New Wimbledon with an all star cast in January 2013.  

In a year long birthday celebration former Emmerdale and Waterloo Road actress Roxanne Pallett will star as Janet along side Ben Forster, who will star as Brad. 

West End star Oliver Thornton, who has appeared in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Phantom Of the Opera, Les Miserables, Chicago and Starlight Express, will follow in the footsteps of Tim Curry when he stars as the lead character of Frank 'n' Furter in this anniversary tour which runs from December 2012 to

Since its first appearance at the Royal Court Theatre in June 1973, the Show has become the world's favourite Rock N' Roll musical. It has been performed worldwide for nearly 40 years in over 30 countries in every continent and has been translated into more than 20 languages. 

Producer Christopher Luscombe is creating a new production for a

year-long UK National adventure starting at Brighton's Theatre Royal on 20 December 2012.

The musical is set to hit the New Wimbledon Theatre on the 21st to the 26th January 2013 and will be produced by Howard Panter for The Ambassador Theatre Group.
