Merton Abbey Primary School has boosted it's overall status from "satisfactory" to "good" according to Ofsted inspectors.

A visit was conducted in the beginning of December.

According to the document pupils achieve well.

They make good progress from starting points that are generally low to achieve broadly average standards by the end of Year 6.

Pupils have very positive attitudes to learning and demonstrate this in the way they contribute to lessons.

For example, they  answer questions thoughtfully and take great care when evaluating their own work or that of their classmates.
