Remembrance Day services in Wimbledon are a time to remember the members of the armed forces who have died on duty since World War I.

Remembrance Day services in Wimbledon 2012
Across Merton services will be taking place across two main days.
Friday 9 November
- A Civic event will be held at 10.50am at the Clock Tower, Fair Green, Mitcham.
-A Civic event will be held at 10.50am outside the Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.
Sunday 11 November
- Wimbledon War Memorial, Wimbledon Village, SW19, 10.40am.
- Nelson Hospital Forecourt, Kingston Road, SW20, 9am.
- St Lawrence's Church, London Road, Morden, 10.30am.
- Mitcham War Memorial, Lower Green West, Mitcham, 10.40am.
On Armistice Day a two-minute silence is observed at 11am across the country.
