Schools in Wimbledon to benefit from Pupil Premium handout

Thanks to the Pupil Premium scheme introduced by the Coalition Government just before Christmas, schools across the Merton borough are to get a cash boost.

Money is allocated to schools depending on the number of children from disadvantaged backgrounds they have, at a rate of £900 per pupil.  

Below is a list of some of the schools in Wimbledon, and how much money money they're expected to receive for September 2013. 

Ursuline High School Wimbledon - £167,400

West Wimbledon Primary School - £83,700

Wimbledon Chase Primary School - £41,400

Wimbledon College - £137,700

Wimbledon Park Primary School - £32,400

Garfield Primary School - £58,500

Hollymount School - £14,400

The Priory CofE School - £76,500
