Snow school closures across Merton

School across Merton have decided to close early because of the weather conditions.  

Below is a list of instructions from the schools across the borough who are taking action.

Abbotsbury Primary School:

The school is open as usual but you may collect your child from 1.30pm. Please do not collect after 3.15pm.

Aragon Primary School:

Due to the adverse weather conditions all children may be collected from 1pm today and there will be no Homework club. There will be no Afternoon Nursery. Gill Wilson, Headteacher.

Bond Primary School:

School is closing at 3.15pm today, however the afterschool clubs are cancelled including BASH. If you wish to pick your child up early to enjoy the snow you can after 1.30pm

Cranmer Primary School:

Update from Cranmer: The school and Happy Faces are open as usual Friday (18.01.13); however if you wish to collect your child from 2.00 p.m. onwards you may. Stay Safe.

Cricket Green School:

School is now closed. Staff will be here with children until they are collected. Please check the website over the weekend.

Gorringe Park Primary School:

Due to the bad weather we have decided to close the school at 1.45pm. Please can you collect your child promptly. There will be no afternoon Nursery.

Harris Academy Merton:

Due to the inclement weather conditions, students will be dismissed at 2pm today. Friday 18/01/13

Haslemere Primary School:

Friday 18th January - Due to the bad weather we have decided to close the school at 1.30pm today. Please try to collect your child promptly if possible.

Hollymount School:

18 Jan 2013 Due to predicted weather conditions,School will close at 1:15 pm today.There will be no pm Nursery.

Holy Trinity CofE Primary School:

School is staying open as usual but if you want to collect your children early you can do so. If your child is in after school club please collect them as early as possible.

Joseph Hood Primary School:

Due to continuing bad weather please collect your child/ren from 1.15pm today. There will be no pm Nursery Session and After School Club is cancelled today. Please contact the school if you have difficulty in collecting your child early.

Merton Abbey Primary School:

Most children have now been collected, if your child is still here it is advisable to pick them up as soon as possible. There is no after school club.

Perseid School:

The school is closed, but is expected to re-open on Monday 21st January

Ricards Lodge High School:

Due to the inclement weather the school will be closing at 2.15pm. 

Rutlish School:

Due to the inclement weather there will be an early finish today (1.20pm). Lunch will be available for students who wish to stay.

St Teresa's Catholic Primary School:

St. Teresa's afteroon Nursery is closed this afternoon. The rest of the school will remain OPEN as the main roads and public transport links are operational.

The Sherwood School:

Due to weather conditions we will be closing at 1pm today. 

Wimbledon Chase Primary School:

At the moment school will remain open until normal time but Film Club and Aikido Club will be cancelled.
