South Park Gardens in Wimbledon handed silver award

South Park Gardens in Wimbledon has been handed a silver Guilt in the London in Bloom 2012 Awards - Which is also the recipient of the prestigious Green flag. 

The Paddock Allotment in Raynes Park also scooped first prize and a Gold Award for best Allotment in London for the third consecutive year.  Overall Merton was awarded silver in this years contest for being the greenest. 

London in Bloom takes place every year and offers boroughs, communities, residents and businesses the opportunity to work together to improve the capital's environment making it a greener and cleaner place to live, work and visit.
