Teacher Strikes To Hit 44 Local Schools Tomorrow 30 June

Strikes have been called by the National Union of Teachers and the Association of Teachers and Lecturers in protest against government plans to change pensions. This will affect many schools across Merton.

Industrial action by teachers will disrupt schools tomorrow
Primary Schools Abbotsbury, Bishop Gilpin, Garden. Gorringe Park, Haslemere, Hatfield, Hillcross, Hollymount, Joseph Hood, Lonesome,
Malmesbury, Merton Abbey, Merton Park, Pelham, Poplar, The Priory, Sacred Heart, St Mary's, SS Peter & Paul and William Morris along with secondaries Ursuline and Raynes Park will be completely closed.
Also affected but not fully closed are primaries All Saints, Aragon, Beecholme, Bond, Dundonald, Liberty, Morden, Stanford, St John Fisher, St Matthews, St Teresa's, St Thomas of Canterbury, West Wimbledon, Wimbledon Chase and Wimbledon Park and secondaries Bishopsford, Ricards Lodge, Rutlish and Wimbledon College.
