Over £14,000 has been raised for The Guild of Social Welfare at the Mayor's Ball.
Hosted at the world famous All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, the ball raised money to buy the charity a vehicle with disabled access to support their activities.
The money will be added to the profits already made from charity events and donations accumulated during Councillor David Williams' year as Mayor.
Entertainment at the ball was provided by BBC Young Musician harp finalist, Cecilia Sultana De Maria, the London City Big Band and the World of Dance.
Fundraising activities included a table raffle, silent auction and live auction with prizes such as a framed Wimbledon tennis shirt signed by Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray which was donated by the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
With 214 guests including nine mayors from the London Boroughs of Greenwich, Kingston, Sutton, Hillingdon, Wandsworth, Richmond, Hammersmith and Fulham, Havering, and Croydon, the ball was also attended by sponsors.
Mayor of Merton, Councillor David Williams said: "This is an amazing sum of money to have raised from a great event."
