You have less than 24 hours to get ready for Valentine's Day. Here's our guide to how to look your best, what to buy and where to go in Wimbledon on February 14.

But first it's all in the preparation. For the big day, February 14, you need to look your best, with and without your clothes on. So, take a peek at some of our pre-Valentine's Day suggestions.

Caroline Randell Lingerie Boutique in Church Road, Wimbledon Village is holding an 'Aphrodisiac Event' from February 11 to 14, where customers can enjoy a glass of prosecco, some chocolate nibbles and 20 per cent off our valentine lingerie and nightwear collection. And, for men wanting to buy their girlfriend or wife some underwear, check out Caroline's website, which has a guide advising men on how to buy the perfect gift.

Home Hair - Have young children and find it difficult getting to the hairdressers? Why not try Beverly Walker, a Wimbledon mum, who can come to your home to cut your hair. A former hairdresser at headmasters, she cuts hair to salon standards but at a more affordable price. Contact Beverly at: home.hair@yahoo.co.uk

Radiance Health & Beauty, Kingston Road, Wimbledon Chase, has a fantastic range of special offers at the moment to leave you feeling like a princess for your prince.

Especially for Valentine's Day they are offering long-lasting nail colour from Shellac, including shape, for £18.

Other offers include three pedicures for just £65. Pure pampering for your feet. The treatment involves removing hard skin and cuticles as well as a hydrating relaxing foot massage, full nail shape and an application of colour.

Feel your skin needs a bit of a boost? Buy four sessions of CACI non-surgical facials, as seen on the TV show 10 Years Younger, for £147. CACI face lift treatments lift the face by toning facial muscles. We can exercise your facial muscles to keep them toned and firm, smoothing away fine lines and wrinkles and preventing sagging skin.

The beauty of the CACI face lift is that it is actually a pleasant relaxing facial treatment which may be combined with  products to exfoliate and rejuvenate your skin. So lay back on the couch while the CACI machine does the hard work!

The Ruby May Beauty Parlour in Wimbledon Village has a Valentine's offer running until February 19. Enjoy a one hour facial, eyebrow tidy, manicure and free nail enamel for £70, saving £52.60. The treatment lasts one hour and 45 minutes. Mmmm.

Now, what about gifts? The most traditional present is flowers, so let's start with local florists:

Gardenia is a family run business based in Wimbledon Village. They have a range of Valentines bouquets on offer, with a Valentine's Dozen (12 beautiful long-stemmed roses) for £60, including standard delivery.

Bonfleur, Kingston Road, Wimbledon Chase, is a lovely florist, with friendly staff who pride themselves on a personal service.

Village Florist's has a gorgeous array of flowers available for Valentine's Day. Check out the website and pop up to Wimbledon Village to take a peek.

Other gift ideas:

Senti, in Wimbledon Village, is a delightful shop offering a range of home and body fragrances. So, instead of flowers why not go for something a little longer lasting, such as Rose fragrance by world respected Florentine perfumer Dr Paolo Vranjes. Inspired by the perfect English Rose, this wonderful scent made from the precious perfume of the Damask Rose, fused with pure Iris flower.

Available in 250ml size diffusers (£49.50), 100ml room sprays (£26.50) and 500ml Refills (£57.00) and 2.5L bottles by special order. Phone for more details: 0208 947 5179.

Elys, Wimbledon, is always a good bet for a having a variety of inspiring gifts, including cosmetics, jewellery and clothes. Their pick of Valentine's gifts include Ted Baker's large leather matinee purse for £95, which comes recommended from me as I love mine! I have a pink version, but they come in a number of colours. The popular Pandora sterling silver bracelets start at £60, with charms for £20. And, Links has a gold heart pendant with a hidden charm inside for £195.

Now the prep and presents have been sorted, it's time to spend some quality time together.
