Fed up with the roadworks on the Broadway, anyone know what is happening there and how long they are planning to take? Very dangerous to cross the road outside Centre Court, had to go against the traffic with a buggy yesterday to get to the traffic island outside Next.

It's revamping the area in preparation for the Olympics. Why or why they couldn't have co-ordinated it when the redid the pipework last year I do not know!

Jeniemac... do you know what it is they are actually doing to revamp the area? Sadly they never seem to co-ordinate any of the planned road works.
