Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD): Wimbledon Event

Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) is the international day of remembrance for the victims of the Holocaust and other genocides. It takes place on 27 January each year, to mark the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in 1945 by Soviet troops.

Holocaust Memorial Day aims to educate, commemorate and prompt action against discrimination and hatred in our communities today.

On Holocaust Memorial Day, you will be joining millions of others across the world who come together to pause, remember and reflect on what we need to do to create a future free from the dangers of discrimination.
