National Apprentice week is fast approaching next month.
An apprenticeship and job fayre on 13 March. Being held at Merton Training and Employment Centre (MTEC) in Morden.
The event is aimed at connecting potential employers with apprentices who are looking for employment and job opportunities.
Businesses that are looking to recruit budding apprentices or recruiting generally and would like to be allocated space should contact the Future Merton Team on 020 8545 3837 or email Future.Merton@merton.gov.uk.
Merton Council wants to encourage as many businesses as possible to come along especially if they have a valuable apprenticeship offer to make.
Businesses will be offered dedicated space to interview potential employees and apprentices and have all their bookings managed by the event organisers.
If a business cannot attend but is interested in advertising a vacancy, we will place this on our vacancy notice board on the day.
Anyone that's looking for employment or an apprenticeship can come along with their CV to pass on to potential employers.
With workshops offering advice about employment and apprenticeships, anyone that's interested in becoming an apprentice can ask questions and find out what it involves.
The Apprenticeship and Job Fayre aims to match interested apprentices with prospective employees and will be providing support on how to register on the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) database.
