Crazy Gang Open New Local Football Pitches

The grounds of The Royal Sun Alliance Sports Club are to be redeveloped with sports pitches and a new pavilion. 

The new facilities will provide West Wimbledon and Sacred Heart primary schools with much needed space as well as catering for the local community. The Football Foundation has donated £339,364 towards the project and three names that will bring a tear of nostalgia to the cheek of Wimbledon football fans were on hand to present the cheque. Original Crazy Gang members from Wimbledon’s late 80s and early 90s soccer heyday Jim Gannon, Chris Powell and John Scales it was who did the honours.
