Errr ....interesting photo of Wimbledon Car Boot? You'll be hard pushed to find a tuft of grass never mind rolling lawn.. The boot is hard standing.. And like the person who posted a comment back n 2011... It sometimes can be pretty rough... Some of the traders behaviour is shocking.. I've encountered one or two brawls over the years... Usually encounter pick pockets and the not so ocasional strong whi*** of weed. I've never experienced or heard of any racist attacks, but I've no doubt it happens. On the whole the traders are pleasant enough... You'll alway get the odd person having a winge.. Probably best to ignore...and move on. If you have a problem find the organisers and let them know your grevences, they would I'm sure be interested to know.

Wow, this is shocking. Some people are very ignorant. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

This is about an experience on Sunday.
If you're 'foreign' then don't bother. The amount abuse we witnessed in a couple of hours was unreal. Stuff like calling 'coloured' people 'scavengers' and making mocking accents to sly remarks if people tried to make a deal. It was like being thrown into a pit of uncivilised rats. ' 'Oh they know how to speak english when they want sumink cheap alright' 'I don't know where they come from and where they think they are'

There were some decent people who treated others with respect and understood the meaning of the word 'customer' without racism.
Even as we were shopping they ****ged off a few nationalities in front of our faces.

I couldn't believe it. This was our second visit. Not sure if we would feel comfortable going again, or even safe. We asked about the price on a few stall and the people didn't even want to reply to use properly and just stared into our etes before giving a very delayed reply. A lot of very bitter boot salers. AVOID IF YOU ARE NOT WHITE
