Cross London Rail Service To Be Cut

Network Rail is planning to terminate all services from Sutton to London at Blackfriars or London Bridge. At present you can get direct trains into the city, to St Pancras and Luton Airport and many other destinations. Under the new plans anyone travelling from Sutton will be forced to change. The plans are scheduled to be implemented in 2016.

A campaign group called Thames Loop Line Campaign Group (TLLCG) has been organised to protest against the plans. Wimbledon MP Stephen Hammond has thrown the weight of his support behind the group, as have MPs from all the other parties in surrounding constituencies.
